This is my current project

Summer 2019

This summer, I’m located in Pittsburgh as a UX research intern in Carnegie Mellon’s Human Computer Interaction Institute.

Working under Dr. Aniket Kittur of the HCII, I’ve joined a team of UX researchers to develop Fuse: a chrome extension to help researchers collect sources, organize information, and create literature reviews.

If you’re in the area and want to chat, get in touch with me at arohrer@cmu.edu.

On this project, I’m helping out wherever I’m needed: a little bit of user research here, some storyboarding there — check back in soon for a specific update of my role on the team. In the meantime, check out our website and download the beta version from there!

If you want a little more info, here’s a quick demo of our extension and the potential it holds for supporting sensemaking throughout various stages of the literature review process.
